How do all my friends get pumped up about sports?
I never got into anything at all and all my friends are like yeeeeaaaah colts are awesome heat is awesome boston is awesome and i dont understand what makes some one so pumped up about sports?
Jade, It is tough to explain why some people get pumped up about sports. Some people have an emotional connection to specific teams. For instance, if you or your parents went to Ohio State, you have some sort of connection to that team and you want them to win. Maybe you root for your high school basketball team. Some guys play fantasy sports and they are not really rooting for a team, but a player who is on their team.
And I am guessing sports are not your thing. Maybe you can compare it to an American Idle contestant. If you like one singer the most, you will vote/root for them. It sort of works on the same principle.
I am sure there is something in your life you are passionate about. Try to compare your passions to the sports delimma.
